About the Role
Biscot Group Practice has a fantastic opportunity for a GP scheduler/administrator to join our busy practice support team on a part-time basis for 16-20 hours per week.
 
The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • the accurate and timely processing of clinical staff rotas.
  • managing clinicians leave.
  • liaising effectively with all relevant personnel.
  • managing the PPA monthly claims ensuring all are claimed for using the correct pathway.
  • maximising the points achieved on QOF depression indicator.
  • processing of rota’s in electronic and hard copy format, including processing annual leave requests.
  • supporting the management team, ensuring the strategic objectives of the practice are met.
  • providing reception cover in exceptional circumstances only.

About the Candidate

If you are a well organised person, who thrives in a busy working environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you. We would particularly welcome applications from individuals who have the following:

  • Experience of working with the general public in a healthcare setting.
  • Ideally with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Adaptable and friendly, with strong administration, time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communicators able to work in a confidential and discreet manner.
  • Able to "think on their feet" in a busy working environment.
  • Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.

Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
