About the Role

Lincoln House Surgery is looking to appoint an experienced administration lead to provide excellent site support within the management team of this organisatioon a full-time basis for 37.5 hours per week.  Lincoln House is a busy, dynamic surgery that is always striving to go further and to be better. Suitable candidates will need to have a similar mind set to fit in with the team & the ethos of the partners & Managers.

The role will be a full time role based on 2 sites: Lincoln House Surgery in Apsley & a branch in Highfield. There will be 2 site leads so you will share responsibility for both sites with another person.

The role of the site lead requires a self-motivated, disciplined individual to take ownership of the efficient day to day running of the practice site, supporting the business & operations manager working as a key member of the management team.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the practice site.
  • Dealing with & logging all estate and facilities queries & issues that may arise, escalating where appropriate.
  • Assisting with hardware and software issues, help to log problems with the current IT service desk & escalate where needed.
  • Offering general assistance to the wider practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients & other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
  • Responding to any queries or problems that the wider practice team may have & managing their expectations.

All applicants should have the following skills and qualifications: 
  • Educated to A-level/equivalent or higher, with relevant experience.
  • GCSE English (C or above) and at least three others.
  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Experience of administrative duties.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience of leading/managing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong IT skills (generic).
  • Clear, polite telephone manner.
  • Competent in the use of Office and Outlook.
  • Effective time management (planning and organising).
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
