About the Role
Ranworth PCN are currently looking to welcome a newly qualified GP under the ARRS scheme to their team to work across all of our sites. We are seeking someone newly qualified within the last 2 years who has not yet held a substantive position post qualification. This position is offered on a full or part-time basis, flexible to sessions.  
 

A normal working day will include;

  • 30 patient appointments and up to two home visits, plus all associated paperwork.
  • Review and action of 50 blood results.
  • Completion of tasks/scanned paperwork sent to you for review and action.
  • Support and guidance to junior clinical colleagues as required.
Core responsibilities will include;

  • Delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
  • Provision of services commensurate with the GMS/APMS contract.
  • Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance.
  • Effective management of long-term conditions.
  • Process of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks.
  • On a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
  • Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
  • Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of the QOF.
  • Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required.
Due to to working across all sites, the successful applicant will require their own transport.

About the Candidate
To be considered for this position, the ideal applicant will have the following;
  • Full GMC registration.
  • Newly qualified within the last 2 years who has not yet held a substantive position post qualification.
  • National performers list registration.
  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
  • Experience of the GMS contract.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
About Us
Ranworth Primary Care Network, is comprised of Caradoc Surgery, Ranworth Surgery in Clacton-on-Sea, Green Elms Health Centre in Jaywick and Kennedy Way Medical Centre in Holland on Sea. We have a diverse patient population, of around 32,000 and all practices work on SystmOne.
