About the Role

Cromer Group Practice are looking to recruit a highly motivated community and practice based clinical pharmacist for their team. This is a unique dual role combining community pharmacist at the partner-owned Cromer Pharmacy, and practice-based clinical pharmacist within Cromer Group Practice.
Working alongside 4 accredited checking technicians (ACTs) and another pharmacist, you will have day-to-day leadership and support from the superintendent pharmacist and pharmacy manager.

We have a well-organised, progressive pharmacy environment focused on teamwork and innovation.

We offer:
  • Full access to GP surgery systems during working hours, enabling you to actively contribute to prescribing optimisation
  • Close collaboration with GPs and the wider clinical team to improve patient outcomes
  • Supporting cost-effective and evidence-based prescribing
  • Active involvement in patient care pathways
  •  A genuinely innovative hybrid role
  • Strong mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Exposure to cutting-edge pharmacy automation and digital systems
  • A supportive, forward-thinking team environment
  • The opportunity to make a real impact on patient care across community and primary care settings
You will be fully supported and mentored by our general practitioners, who are committed to helping you grow and develop as a clinical pharmacist. This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise while remaining closely connected to community pharmacy services.

About the Candidate

You will be keen to develop your skills and have the ambition to deliver as many pharmacy services as possible, including a wide range of NHS and private services.
You will be a qualified pharmacist with strong experience within primary care and have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Completion of a degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Post-qualification experience in pharmacy (hospital, primary care or community), or working towards obtaining this.
  • Qualified independent prescriber, or working towards this.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
  •  Prior experience in either setting is valued but not essential, as full support and development will be provided.
  • A motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist eager to develop across community and clinical roles.
  • A patient-focused mindset with a desire to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

About Us

We are a forward-thinking hybrid pharmacy and GP practice, proud to be at the forefront of pharmacy innovation and patient-centred care. We thrive on using the most up-to-date technology to enhance productivity, staff satisfaction, and the patient experience.

Our pharmacy is equipped with a new Meditech dispensing robot, which has already transformed workflow and efficiency. We are also in the final stages of installing a 24-hour automated collection kiosk, fully integrated with the robot, allowing patients to collect their medication at a time that suits them. Innovation, development, and continuous improvement are central to how we work.
