About the Role

North Clacton Medical Group have a vacancy for a full time Health Care Assistant working a 5-day week across two practices, one on the Crusaders Business Park, the other North Road, Great Clacton. This is a full-time role, working hours are 10am to 18:30pm with 1 hour lunch break.

Main duties of the role:

Taking patients observations
Wound care
Phlebotomy
Health checks
Smoking cessation
INR testing
ECGs.

The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience, skills and competence, requiring you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (or equivalent) to join our team.

Training will be offered to give injections , Learning Disability Reviews, Part 1 of Diabetic Reviews, if not already qualified.

Good IT skills are essential for this role - the clinical system used at the practice is SystmOne, plus additional software such as Abtrace and AccuRx.
