  • Carrying out home visits where clinically appropriate
  • Participating in the practice duty/on-call system
  • Reviewing, managing and actioning clinical workflow, including pathology results, correspondence and prescription
  • Managing a fair share of incoming workload, including documents, queries and administrative tasks
  • Making professional, autonomous clinical decisions in relation to presenting problem
  • Assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed condition

  • Providing appropriate health education and preventative care
  • Admitting, discharging and refering patients to other services as appropriate
  • Responsible for clinical governance and quality including keeping clear, accurate records
  • Help ensure the smooth and safe running of the practice on the day
  • Working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues

As a training practice, there may also be opportunities to support GP trainees or other learners, depending on experience and interest.

If this sounds like the sort of environment you are looking for, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
