About the Role

Grove Medical Centre are seeking to appoint a Salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP to work within a patient-focused environment that values continuity of care and high-quality clinical practice.

We are ideally looking for a GP with experience of working within a very fast paced duty team although all suitable applicants will be considered.

Main duties of the role:

Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone as clinically appropriate)
Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions
Provide appropriate prescribing, investigations, and referrals
Ensure safe and effective clinical decision-making and safety-netting
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activities

We offer:

4–6 sessions per week (negotiable)
Session structure and working days to be discussed
Competitive salary (dependent on experience and negotiable)
Start date to be agreed

About the Candidate

To be considered for the position, you will have the following:

Essential:

GMC registered General Practitioner
Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
Good clinical and consultation skills
Ability to manage a varied workload independently
Commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care
Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:

Experience working in duty/urgent care clinics
Previous experience in UK general practice
Interest in developing clinical or service areas within the practice
Familiarity with SystmOne
