About the Role

Tiptree Medical Centre are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our established multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis for 25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be an experienced autonomous practitioner with strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, able to assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

The role will include:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients independently
  • Prescribing in line with clinical competence and current guidelines
  • Managing same-day and urgent care presentations
  • Supporting chronic disease management and preventative care
  • Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives

We use ANIMA total triage and embrace modern ways of working while maintaining the traditional values of family medicine and continuity of care.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
  • Professional registration with relevant professional body: NMC, HCPC or GPhC
  • Post-graduate qualification in specific speciality, or equivalent experience
  • Post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in specialty area
  • Evidence of on-going CPD
  • Advanced clinical assessment skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform in stressful and complex situations
  • Sound clinical reasoning & decision making
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to inspire a team

Our team includes two supportive GP partners, 7 salaried GPs, an excellent nursing team with specialist skills in diabetes, asthma and COPD, 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Practice Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacists, and a dedicated administrative and reception team working together to provide high-quality patient care.
