About the Role

Southend Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried General Practitioner to join our well-established, forward-thinking practice on a fixed-term basis through GP Scheme Funding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse population. The successful candidate will:

Provide high-quality general medical services to registered patients.
Undertake routine surgeries, telephone consultations and home visits as appropriate.
Participate in clinical decision-making and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to safeguarding, quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Support continuity of care and patient-centred service delivery.

About the Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will require the following:

Essential:

Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration and licence to practise
Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to providing safe, effective and compassionate patient care
Experience working in primary care within the NHS
