About the Role

Chet Valley Medical Practice are keen on recruiting an Administrator to their busy practice, working 3-4 days per week. 
Working with a friendly and supportive team of administrators, this role is responsible for clinical coding, supporting the reception team, booking appointments and providing adhoc administrative support. 
 
Duties will include: 
  • Accurately clinically code data into the patient record on the clinical system
  • Identify relevant clinical information documented in patient correspondence, coding appropriately and completing any detailed action
  • Input and extract data as required to support practice reports, audits and to capitalise upon both patient safety and QOF income
  • Scan patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients’ healthcare records
  • Highlight all timely actions, changes to patient care and management to the relevant clinician
  • File and store records as required
  • Photocopy documentation as required
  • Action all incoming correspondence, emails and mail in a timely manner

About the Candidate

  • Experience of working with the general public
  • A good standard of education - Maths and English Grade C or above (level 4 and above)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Competent with MS Outlook and Office
