Practice Nurse

North Clacton Medical Group are seeking a Practice Nurse to work 37.5 hours across five days at our Crusaders and North Road sites.

Working hours are negotiable, but the successful applicant must be available to work Thursdays and Fridays until 6.30 pm.

Duties will include:

• Deliver routine nursing care
• • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Provide advice on general health, wellbeing, and disease prevention
  • Perform cervical screening and pill checks
  • Carry out immunisations and vaccinations (adult and childhood)
  • Undertake health checks
  • Monitor and manage long-term conditions
  • Conduct ECGs and other basic diagnostic tests
  • Support patients in managing chronic conditions
  • Promote healthy lifestyle choices (e.g. smoking cessation, weight management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Use clinical systems to document consultations and care plans
  • Ensure compliance with practice protocols and guidelines

• A relevant nursing degree.
• Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
• Experience in cervical screening (cytology), travel immunisations, baby checks, contraceptive pill checks and general practice nursing duties.
