About the Role

Norfolk and Waverney ICB are looking for an experienced nurse to recruit to the post of General Practice Legacy Nurse/ANP Fellow.  This role presents the opportunity to undertake 4 sessions per week for 12 months (1 session equates to 4 hours, 10 minutes).   
 
The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified NMC Registered Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner, working substantively within General Practice in Norfolk & Waveney. About the Candidate
All applicants should have the following essential qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
  • Full and current registration with relevant professional body, e.g. NMC
  • Educated to degree level, plus post graduate diploma or equivalent in a specific field, experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Critical appraisal skills
  • Ability to work with, and lead others, across professions
  • Accredited teaching qualification or experience in supporting learners in practice
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
  • Skills for nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks.
  • Demonstrates the values and role models these for others
  • Problem solving skills
  • Understands self and impact of behaviour on others
  • Promotes equality of opportunity
  • Will be required to travel within and outside of the ICB’s geographical area.
