We are a rural dispensing and training practice located in the village of Stanton, set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside close to Bury St Edmunds. We serve a stable population of approximately 5300 patients. We work in modern purpose-built premises, which have recently been extended and provide a bright and airy setting in which to work. Our clinical system is SystmOne. We are rated GOOD across all areas by CQC.
We are a two partner GMS practice. We offer a supportive happy environment, and last year we were approved as a GP training practice. We already have GP trainees working alongside us, and in the future we aim to host nursing students also.
We have a team of three nurses, and work closely with our PCN colleagues who visit the surgery weekly, such as a social prescriber, mental health link worker, primary mental health worker and physiotherapist. We are part of Blackbourne PCN which consists of four rural practices. A diabetes nurse specialist also visits monthly and holds a clinic at the practice. We have also recently recruited two urgent care practitioners. Our reception and administrative teams provide excellent support to our clinical teams.
We actively encourage informal visits to meet our friendly team. For further information or to arrange a visit, please contact [email protected]
