About the Role

The De Parys Group are looking to increase our pool of bank nursing staff. 

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Undertaking health assessments, administering medication and treatments, and performing diagnostic tests.
  • General health and well-being promotion as well as creating individual, person-centred plans for patients with, or at risk of, a long term condition.
  • Managing and treating long-term conditions, in line with national and local policies and the practice needs.
  • Meeting the needs of patients presenting with various clinical needs. 
  • New patient and health checks.

About the Candidate

All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
  • A relevant nursing degree.
  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
  • Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation.
  • Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work.  The successful candidate will value the dignity of our patients, their relatives and carers, as well as their colleagues at the practice.
  • Knowledge, and experience of its application, in supporting long-term conditions.
  • Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the wider NHS.

About Us

The De Parys Group’s priority is to provide the highest standard of clinical care to the 38,000 patients registered with the practice.
