Salaried GP - Fixed Term Contract

Southend Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a fixed-term basis from November 2026 until March 2027.

We are offering up to 4 sessions per week, with days and times negotiable. We are happy to consider face-to-face consulting, remote working, or a blended approach to suit both the successful applicant and the needs of the practice.

What We Offer

• Fixed-term contract from November 2026 to March 2027

• BMA model contract
• Annual sessional rate of up to £11,000 per session per annum, dependent on experience
• Annual leave entitlement in accordance with BMA terms and conditions
• Supportive clinical and administrative team
• SystmOne clinical system

Essential requirements:

• Fully registered GP with GMC licence to practise
• Previous primary care / general practice experience
• SystmOne trained
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
