About the Role
Vida Healthcare has exciting opportunities for reliable, hardworking patient support team members to join our experienced team on a full or part time basis across three of our sites, covering shifts between 8am-6:30pm, split by morning and afternoon sessions.  You will be assigned a main base, however the positions will be multi-site and it is essential that the you will be able to cover all the locations below:
 
  • The Hollies Surgery, Downham Market.
  • Carole Brown Health Centre, Dersingham.
  • Hunstanton Medical Practice.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintain a professional and effective receptionist service for our patients.
  • Provide telephone and face to face access for patients to book, cancel and check appointments.
  • Deal with customers in a calm and sympathetic manner, working at a continuously high pace under pressure to deliver high levels of accuracy.
  • Support patients who may have a problem or complaint.
  • Undertake basic prescription administration training, ensuring that queries are answered in the absence of prescription team colleagues.
  • Engage in customer service processes and provide a high quality internal and external service.
  • Partake in any training, as appropriate for personal and professional development.

About the Candidate
Our patients demand the highest standards of care and if you are conscientious with a strong team-working ethic, then this could be the ideal role for you. You must be able to work collaboratively with the practice team to meet the needs of our patients, where high quality service delivery, complete confidentiality and patient satisfaction are an absolute priority.
 
You will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
  • Educated to GCSE level, including English, or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information.
  • Experience within a customer service environment.
Previous experience of using SystmOne and experience of working within the NHS or in a call-centre setting are an advantage.
