About the Role
North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre are looking for a part-time receptionist with excellent people skills, to work at our busy Chelmsford practice. 
 
Shifts available are listed below and there is a requirement to work one shift at the weekend per month (4.5 hours), and we offer £15 per hour after 6.30pm and at weekends. 
  • Monday 8:00am-2:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:00am-2:00pm
  • Thursday 2:00pm-8:00pm

Main duties include:

  • Dealing with patients’ queries on the telephone, by email, in person, or via AccuRx.
  • Processing prescription requests.
  • Arranging home visits.
  • Scanning documents.
  • Processing card and cash payments from patients.
Applicants will need to be fully flexible to cover annual leave and short notice sick leave.
 
About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years office experience in a similar position. (essential)
  • Have a caring nature and be able to show empathy to our patients.
  • Be able to demonstrate good team working.
  • Have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Be able to pick up processes and information quickly and put these into action.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be flexible to cover sickness and leave.
