About the Role

Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care? Join our dedicated patient care team as a patient care advisor at The Humbleyard Practice, on a full time basis for 37.5 hours per week.

This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the best support and guidance throughout their healthcare journey.

Main duties include:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Schedule and manage appointments accurately using SystmOne & PATCHS Health.
  • Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain and update patient records efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care.

About the Candidate

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive individual who thrives in a patient-facing role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional manner, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting or a patient-facing role is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a patient-centred approach, ensuring all interactions are handled with care and empathy.
  • Be confident using IT systems, with experience in Microsoft Office and clinical databases (e.g., SystmOne & PATCHS) being an advantage.
  • Show flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
