About the Role

Constable Country Medical Practice based in Colchester and Ipswich are looking to recruit a bank/casual medical receptionist for their team. Please note, this vacancy has no guaranteed hours. Shifts are offered to cover sickness, annual leave and busy periods so flexibility is essential.

Key duties will include;

Answering calls and helping patients access the right service
Booking appointments
Taking messages and managing the teams task box
Liaising with clinicians and external services
Processing prescription requests
Providing test results as directed by clinicians
Maintaining a tidy and safe reception/working area

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience, offers excellent communication skills, and has the following attributes:

Good communication skills
IT confident
Has a friendly and calm manner

Patient-focused attitude
Can work well under pressure

About Us

At Constable Country Medical Practice, care for 12,250 patients across two sites and have a clinical team of 3 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 nurse practitioners and a paramedic. We are also a GP training practice.
