About the Role
Saffron Health Partnership has an opportunity for a clinical administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered on a full time basis, Monday to Friday for 35 hours per week, although job share could be considered. 

Once trained the role will be hybrid working so will be a mixture of remote and office-based working.

Full training will be given. 

The data team is made up of 9 experienced and supportive administrators and led by the data specialist manager. You will be working in a very busy practice. 
 
The main responsibilities of the role include:
  • Accurate data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.
  • Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice, including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff.
  • Forwarding clinical documents to clinicians following practice protocol.
About the Candidate
Candidates who have experience in clinical coding/SystmOne clinical system, would be preferred, although we welcome applications from candidates with NHS or primary care experience in similar roles.

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to work to a high standard and at a fast pace.
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and processes when appropriate.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and appropriately with members of the public, colleagues, and staff in other agencies verbally, on the telephone and in writing.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful.
  • Experience with Microsoft including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
About Us
We are a long-established practice with a very friendly team serving patients from our 3 sites in Biggleswade, Sandy and Langford. This role is based at our Biggleswade site, which is under a 5-minute walk from the train station. We also have a staff car park.
